New peace of mind for employees at 101 Corporate Center

101CorporateCenterWe’re proud to announce that Centralized Vision was recently awarded the managed services contract for the 101 Corporate Center, a 77,337-square-foot two-story, class A office building located at 19820 N. 7th Street in Phoenix, AZ.

Centralized Vision is providing real-time monitoring for this office building through its existing access control system and newly installed camera surveillance system to include one-way audio communication. CV will specialize in offering visual escorts for employees who work late and want to be watched over while walking safely to their vehicles, in addition to controlling who has access into the building after business hours. Through live security camera monitoring we are able to assess threats and speak to trespassers through the speaker system to keep this environment virtually crime free.

101 Corporate Center benefits from great visibility since it is located just off the Loop 101, a major freeway encircling metropolitan Phoenix. 101 Corporate Center is also conveniently located within a mile of Deer Valley Airport, a general aviation facility that is a designated reliever airport for Sky Harbor International Airport. The property is located within four minutes of Deer Valley Towne Center, a ±525,000 square foot power center anchored by an AMC Theatre, Target, Ross Dress for Less, PetsMart, Michaels, and OfficeMax, as well as a number of dynamic restaurants.

101 Corporate Center is situated near Phoenix General Hospital and PetsMart’s corporate headquarters. 101 Corporate Center is also within 10 minutes of Scottsdale, well-known for its beautiful neighborhoods, fine dining and luxury executive homes.

What’s going on behind your back?

westhighland3615backdoorWhen people consider installing security cameras, they’re usually thinking about preventing theft and vandalism. While these are important reasons to have cameras, what our clients discover is that there are all kinds of other things that people do when they think no one is watching, and you’d be surprised at some of the crazy stuff people do.

For example, one of our CV technicians recently observed two employees exiting the rear door of a client’s building, and one of the employees began urinating right next to the door.

Gross! If you were the property owner, wouldn’t you want to know that this kind of thing was happening? After all, you can’t take corrective action on a situation you don’t know exists. What’s worse, this business was a restaurant. Think of how something like this could hurt the health rating and public image of the business if it was discovered by someone else, like a health inspector.

Bottom line: Until you have cameras, and Centralized Vision monitoring them, you never know what’s really happening on your property.
