Tom Vigilante, Jr., President and Founder of Centralized Vision, is an expert in innovative security solutions after spending more than 22 years in the security industry. Headquartered in Phoenix, Centralized Vision is a leading company that offers real-time video surveillance services to provide safety and security for companies and families throughout the world.
With his wife Tami, Vigilante founded Centralized Vision in 2007 after hearing the frustrations of business owners who had difficulty in preventing property damage and theft with un-monitored security cameras. Harnessing innovations in technology and increased bandwidth on the Internet that enabled live video streaming, Vigilante developed an innovative security platform. From its conception, CV has provided pro-active protection of property and assets for companies by using remote-camera monitoring with real-time response options. Today’s CV acts a remote guard, remote concierge and a remote engineer as needed. At a central station equipped with safety-certified operators and video technicians 24 hours a day, Centralized Vision now provides real-time monitoring for companies such as auto dealerships, construction facilities, retail centers, schools, entertainment facilities, sporting venues, recycling facilities, office buildings and warehouse distribution centers.
Vigilante received his start in the security industry while in high school as a part-time security officer working for Vigilante Security Services (VSS), a small security services company his parents founded in 1988. VSS has since grown to more than 500 employees and has been recognized as Arizona’s No. 1 security company by Ranking Arizona Magazine.
After attending college and developing a strong business acumen as a leading salesperson for an office solutions company, Vigilante returned to work at VSS as a Sales Representative in 1999 and created $2.5 million in sales in the first year. As VSS continued to grow with more efficiency through redeveloped marketing campaigns and customer-service programs, Vigilante was promoted to Vice President, Senior Vice President and Executive Vice President. He has been active with many associations, such as the American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS) Phoenix Chapter, Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) of Greater Phoenix, National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP) and Arizona Association of Community Managers (AACM).
Prior to earning a degree in Sociology with a minor in Communication from Arizona State University in 1996, Vigilante played baseball at Glendale Community College, University of Arizona and Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego. He and his wife, Tami, currently reside in Scottsdale, Ariz. with their children Dayne and Tatum.
Tami Vigilante, Executive Vice President and Co-Founder of Centralized Vision, developed core customer service philosophies that have enabled the company to grow rapidly while maintaining strong client retention. She and her husband, Tom Jr., founded Centralized Vision more than a decade ago after hearing from frustrated business owners who had difficulty in preventing property damage and theft with un-monitored security cameras. Having served CV in a variety of roles since its conception, she is currently focused on HR, marketing and accounting responsibilities.
Having started her career in business and marketing, Vigilante knows well what it means to put the customer’s needs first. She developed her customer service and office management skills while working for IKON Office Solutions for seven years. She began her career as an Office Manager and was quickly promoted to Assistant for the company’s Vice President of Sales & Marketing, which allowed her to develop customer service strategies while networking with new business clients. Vigilante became a Junior Sales Representative and supported a team of five Senior Sales Representatives before owning her own territory as a Sales Representative. She met her husband while working at IKON and left her position to start a family while Tom rejoined his parent’s security company, Vigilante Security Services (VSS), as a Vice President. Since 2007, her talents have helped fuel the evolution of Centralized Vision from a concept to a fully-realized business with many satisfied clients.
As the mother of two children, Dayne and Tatum, Vigilante is proud that Centralized Vision is providing deterrents and services to make the world safer for her family and others to live in.
Rich Flanagan, Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing, is the newest member of the CV team. His focus will be on building and nurturing our channel partner program, corporate marketing initiatives and client retention.
With over 20 years as a business owner and sales leader, he brings an in-depth understanding and passion for building companies and brand awareness through culture and consumer experience. He takes a value-first mentality to the marketplace where customers and partners needs are first priority. By drawing from his previous experience as a top producing sales executive, he uses this firsthand knowledge to bring marketing and sales strategies that complement his philosophies.
Rich played an instrumental role in helping AmeriFirst Financial, Inc. grow from a small local mortgage operation in 2009 into a multi-state leading mortgage lender with a major presence today throughout the Western United States. This growth includes expansion from 2 branches with 50 employees and $30 million in monthly production to 50+ branches with approximately 500 employees and $200+ million in monthly production today.
Rich’s leadership and visionary sales and marketing solutions have consistently raised the bar in the industry. As a principal and key member of the executive team at AmeriFirst Financial, Inc. and co-founder of the Educate2Earn marketing platform, he has a proven track record of creating innovative tools, strategies, and solutions that drive long-term success.
John McEnerney, CV Business Consultant, is an accomplished security professional who has spent 20 plus years providing expertise to corporate and philanthropic clients. As a Security Executive Leader and Executive Protection Expert, he is focused on risk management, strategic planning, and policy development.
Detail oriented and well organized, McEnerney has learned to create appropriate solutions to challenging tasks in many areas, including Crisis Management, Contingency Planning, Law Enforcement Liaison, Emergency Preparedness, and Investigations. When it comes to Risk Assessment and Mitigation, McEnerney can identify security vulnerabilities and provide a comprehensive plan for reducing risks. With his knowledge of security technology hardware and software, he performs cost benefit analysis and assessment options to meet client needs and budget requirements. Before signing on with Centralized Vision, McEnerney spent 17 years as a Director of Security for one of America’s most philanthropic families.
Thomas Rowswell, Systems Integrations Manager, started as a standard Surveillance Specialist over ten years ago. He became Lead Technician and then Systems Integrations Manager. Duties have included or currently include integrating new client systems into the CV infrastructure, maintaining client relationships, managing employee concerns, creating and sending reports, and training new employees.
One of his most important roles is maintaining the health of the technology employed in our center. He acts as basic technical support for many systems managed or monitored by CV. He consults on the implementation of new systems being installed as well as old systems being upgraded, providing feedback on the capabilities and limitations of the system as a whole. He manages access control databases and onboarding card access, visiting our clients to ensure that all is well with the property and ensuring our scope of work is up to date and properly functional. As needed, you may find him performing testing on site at locations monitored by CV as he seeks to ensure all technology is working properly.
Rowswell came to CV from VSS where he was a Security Officer. His experience with tech began at age 10 when he built his first computer from spare parts. Through self-training and education, he became a CompTIA A+ Technician with plans to finish CompTIA Net+ Certification by 2020. He also plans to be married February 2020 to Jessica Klinedinst. They share four wonderful dogs: Cocoa, Brownie, Lola, and Flower.
Christine Dona, Operations Manager at Centralized Vision, got her start in the security industry back in 2018 and her immense talent has seen her rise quickly through the ranks. After a short stint in physical security, Christine realized the real future and opportunity to grow was in the virtual space. Hired as a Surveillance Specialist at Centralized Vision, Christine knew early on that she made the right choice. Christine’s talents and value were quickly recognized, and it wasn’t long before she became a Shift Manager, then Lead Supervisor to then ultimately be named Operations Manager. Christine has worked in the customer service industry for several years and is passionate about putting her employees and customer’s needs first and ensuring that they are receiving the very best from her in every interaction. As a mother of two, a wife, pet owner and young leader she has become above all, patient. Each milestone in life has given her the experience and confidence needed to take on the many roles she has within Centralized Vision. From growing and mentoring employees, to providing unmatched communication and support to our customer and partners, Christine has become the backbone of Centralized Vision always with the goal of protecting all things that matter most, both inside and outside of the organization.
Michelle Schemel, Director of Channel Development, is the newest member to join the Centralized Vision team. Michelle’s main focus will be to provide education to CV’s Integrator partners to ensure that no opportunities are missed in customizing matched CV offerings to the needs of all clients, both existing and new.
Michelle brings her 20 plus years in customer experience and sales leadership, as well as her well-known servant leadership style, inspiring team members to bring their best efforts daily to positively impact customers.
After managing a successful dental practice for 12 years, she went into medical sales in a very competitive local market where she sharpened her sales skills, consistently exceeding goals for more than 7 years. She then spent 2 years at American Express, growing a new inside sales department from 40 sales consultants to more than 200, reaching combined individual, and team goals. And for the past 7 years, Michelle continued her career at AmeriFirst Financial, a local mortgage company where she provided marketing and sales support nationally to both individual contributors and executive level team members. This is where she continued to demonstrate effective communication and the ability to foster a positive work culture, both instrumental in growing AmeriFirst Financial exponentially in a short period of time.
