Virtual Firewatch is a remote monitoring support service designed to supplement life-safety oversight during temporary fire alarm or fire protection system impairments. While this service utilizes continuous live video monitoring, defined escalation procedures, and real-time observation, it is not a substitute for physical fire watch personnel unless expressly authorized by the applicable Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ), local fire marshal, insurance carrier, property owner, and/or other governing regulatory body.

Customer Responsibilities

The customer is solely responsible for:

Verifying that Virtual Firewatch services are permitted within their specific jurisdiction, municipality, state, or local code requirements
Obtaining all necessary approvals, permits, waivers, or authorizations from relevant authorities prior to implementation
Understanding and accepting any risks associated with utilizing remote fire watch services in lieu of traditional on-site personnel
Ensuring all existing fire safety, evacuation, and emergency response procedures remain active and compliant

Centralized Vision (or Provider) makes no representation or guarantee that Virtual Firewatch alone satisfies all fire watch requirements in every jurisdiction or circumstance. Compliance obligations vary based on location, occupancy type, system impairment scope, and regulatory interpretation.

Acknowledgements and Liability

By engaging this service, the customer acknowledges that:

Virtual Firewatch is provided as a risk-mitigation and monitoring solution
Final compliance responsibility remains with the customer/property owner
Service deployment does not constitute legal, fire code, or insurance compliance advice
Physical fire watch personnel may still be required depending on governing authority directives

Customer assumes full responsibility for regulatory compliance and agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the service provider from claims, penalties, or liabilities arising from improper authorization, noncompliance, or misuse of the service.
